Subtle structural palate with slow-building fruit washing over the bed of youthful gravelly tannins. Blood plum, blackberry leaf, jamon Iberica, cedar, cassia bark and charry oak characters feature on the lengthy palate.

Wine making: Grapes sourced from blocks of east-west orientated rows on our Maroondah Highway vineyard. Hand-picked and sorted, the fruit was destemmed, crushed and tipped directly to small open vats. A considered amount of stalks were added back to complement aroma, complexity and tannin. Fermentation and cuvaison was conducted for 14 to 21 days with the ferment temperature reaching 32°C. Vats were hand-plunged or pumped-over a maximum of once per day. The wine underwent 22 months of oak maturation.

Levantine Hill has been recognized as the #2 winery in Australia in The Real Review’s 2026 Top Wineries of Australia, one of the country’s most respected benchmarks of wine quality.

This recognition reflects the consistency, precision and uncompromising standards found across our entire portfolio.

This wine is part of that same pursuit of excellence, crafted from our Yarra Valley vineyards and recognized among the finest wines in Australia.

This wine is suitable for vegans.

750 ml bottle
12.5 alc/vol

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0668/3646/3719/files/levantine-hill-levant-cabernet-bottle.png?v=1791829899
